The European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE), together with the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation, is concluding a project focusing on the integration of gender equality in research and higher education institutions, with the support of Yellow Window. This project (1) mapped and analysed legal and policy frameworks and other stimulatory initiatives promoting gender equality in research, (2) identified good practices for integrating a gender equality in research and higher education institutions, and (3) is currently finalising an online tool to assist these organisations in setting up, implementing, monitoring and evaluating gender equality plans.

The learning and dissemination seminar has the aim to:

  • Raise awareness on institutional change towards gender equality in research and higher education institutions;
  • Share and discuss good examples promoting gender equality in research and higher education institutions;
  • Increase knowledge on effective approaches to integrate gender mainstreaming in these settings.

The seminar will bring together experts who can contribute with their experience and expertise in implementing gender equality initiatives in/for research and higher education institutions, as well as members from organisations who can disseminate this knowledge and promote the practices that will be presented.

Please note that participation in the seminar is by invitation only.
